A Teaching Position Unlike Most

Teaching at Faithful Roots is not like teaching at a traditional school. You will have one classroom, students across multiple grades, and real relationships with every family. You will not teach to a standardized test. You will not compete with a screen for your students' attention.

What you will do is know your students. You will watch the same children grow over multiple years. You will teach with the freedom to do it well and with the support of families who chose this school because they believe in what you're doing.

Life in the One-Room Classroom

KNOW EVERY STUDENT

With approximately 15 students, you’ll form deep relationships with each student, knowing their learning styles, their quirks, their growth. That’s rare and meaningful work.

TEACH WITH REAL FREEDOM

No curriculum divorced from your faith. No teaching to metrics that don’t reflect actual learning. You’ll have the professional autonomy to teach well.

WORK WITH INVESTED FAMILIES

Our families choose this school deliberately. They are engaged, appreciative, and share your values. Working with them is one of the best parts of this position.
